UHMW PE sheets are sheets of Ultra-high Molecular Weight Polyethylene, a type of plastic that has excellent properties for various applications. which means that the polyethylene molecules have a very high molecular weight, usually between 1.5 and 9 million g/mol. It can be made from recycled material, antistatic material, electrically conductive material, high-temperature material, oil-filled material, abrasion-resistant material, or metal-detector-grade material, depending on the specific needs of the application. UHMW PE sheets are also known as Polystone, Tivar 88, or PE 1000. They are suitable for engineering and industrial purposes, food processing and packaging applications, and architectural and building purposes.
