What is UHMWPE?
Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) is a thermoplastic engineering plastic with a linear structure with excellent comprehensive properties. UHMWPE plate is a polymer compound that is difficult to process, and has the characteristics of super wear resistance, self-lubrication, relatively high strength, stable chemical properties, and strong anti-aging properties. The processing technologies of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) include pressing, extrusion, blow molding and injection molding, as well as other special methods of molding.

The Features of UHMWPE

Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene sheet has an incredible resistance to abrasion. It will outperform almost any engineering plastic for abrasion resistance.
Another important property is its incredibly low coefficient of friction. It is one of the lowest of all engineering plastics and will produce components with a very high life span with very low drag, which means very little will stick to it.
Because the Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene sheet has very low moisture absorption, it is also found in some high-demand areas of marine applications.
